Meet the Team
mr Devonish Company director
Tyron Devonish is the company’s director. Tyron has over two decades of experience of running a childcare provision. I have been trained by Brent Play Association and have a certificate of higher education in play work and youth studies. Tyron has worked in primary schools across Brent for the past 22 years and have also worked with Brent Youth Service. Tyron currently works as a safeguarding officers for a local school.
Shereene Williams COMPANY DIRECTOR
Shereene Williams is the company’s director and has experience of running playschemes and after school clubs in Brent for 21 years. Shereene was also trained with me by Brent Play Association and she has a degree in playwork and youth studies. Shereene has 12 years of experience working with children in schools across the borough.
SHANIQUA DEVONiSH-CLARKE JOHN KEBLE CLUB MANAGER
As a child, Shaniqua attended our after school club and holiday playschemes and developed a passion for working with children and young people. She is a well-respected member of our staff team and has recently been promoted to club manager of our John Keble provision.
Shaniqua has a degree in biomedical science and is currently employed as a secondary school science teacher.
TIARA BECKFORD
JOHN KEBLE DEPUTY MANAGER
As a child, Tiara attended our after school club and holiday playschemes and developed a passion for working with children and young people. She is a well-respected member of our staff team and has recently been promoted to deputy manager of our John Keble provision. Tiara currently works as a teaching assistant in a local primary school and is studying psychology.
MERCY TIWO
SENIOR PLAY WORKER
Mercy will be based at our Barham club this holiday.
Mercy started her career working in nurseries and quickly developed a passion for working with all children and young people. She also has a special interest and lots of working with children with special needs.
Mercy started as a playworker and is now a senior member of staff at our club.
Mercy has a degree in psychology and counselling but is currently pursuing a career as a primary school teacher.
KATH BUTLER-LLOYD SENDC0 PLAY WORKER
Kath will be based at our Ark Academy club but will have an overview of all SEN children across all of our clubs.
Kath has over 30 years of experience working in the childcare sector. She has managed a number of nurseries across the borough. Kath currently works in a local primary school as the school’s nursery nurse. Kath really enjoys working with children of all ages but her passion lies with children with special needs.
TSHALA KABALA PLAY WORKER/sports specialist
Tshala will be based at our John Keble club this holiday.
Tshala is a kind and respectful young man that certainly does his bit for the community. He has youthful energy which he uses to play and entertain the children in his care. Tshala is currently studying sports science and play semi-professional football however, his true passion is working with children and young people.
KERISHA DEVONISH
SENIOR PLAY WORKER
Kerisha will be based at our Ark Academy club this holiday.
At an early age Kerisha started volunteering at holiday clubs. Seeing children happily interact and engaging in new experiences is why Kerisha chose to work with children.
At the end of her International Tourism Management Degree, Kerisha made the conscious decision to work with children in education and has been for the past 18 years. Kerisha started as voluntary classroom and playground support and quickly after became a teaching assistant.
Kerisha has worked with two primary schools throughout the years and is currently the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Pastoral Support for her current role in primary education.
